WHO WE ARE

AQUAMAX is a joint effort of CNN Soft-Shell Mangrove Crab Farm in Thailand and AquaMax Limited in Bangladesh. CNN was established in Thailand on 2008 while AquaMax started in 2015 with technical assistance of CNN.

We started as a small farm at Datinakhali, Shyamnagar, Satkhira which would later on became the “Soft Shell Crab Capital” of Bangladesh.

AQUAMAX is primarily focused on producing and delivering to you a fresh and quality soft shell crab product from Bangladesh.

Our name represents our passion and commitment to drive efficiency and maximize aquaculture results.

Technical skills are a must. Our team has trained from the Japan-led SEAFDEC Philippines and further gained knowledge from soft shell crab experts from Thailand and Myanmar. So set your worries aside, we got this!

Soft Shell Mangrove Crabs

Mangrove crabs molt or shed their hard shell in order to grow. Soft shell crabs are produced by stocking hard shell crabs in individual plastic boxes until they molt and replace their shell. Upon molting, soft shell crabs are collected before the shell gets hard again.

Soft shell crabs are completely soft and edible; thus, all parts can be eaten including the shell and limbs. When fried, soft shell crabs are very savory that's why it has become a popular delicacy in the world.
